You can remove PostReach’s access to your accounts, and you can have your data deleted. Here’s how, and what happens. PostReach is operated by PostReach AI Limited, Business Registration No. 77341984.
Delete your data
In PostReach. To delete your whole account, go to your Profile, then the Danger zone, and choose to delete your account. We email you a code to confirm. If you own a team with other people in it, hand over ownership first. An Owner or Admin can delete a workspace from Settings in the same way.
By email. Write to support@postreach.ai from the address on your PostReach account, with the subject “Delete my data”. Tell us which social accounts you connected. We confirm by email when it’s done.
Either way, we delete your data as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days.
Disconnect one account
In PostReach, go to Connections, choose the account and press Disconnect. We revoke our access at the network where its API allows it, delete the token straight away, and delete what we store about that account within 7 calendar days. Posts waiting for that account go on hold or skip it, and the screen says which.
If you remove the app from Facebook or Instagram
You can remove PostReach on Meta’s side without using PostReach at all.
- On Facebook, open your settings, then Apps and websites. On Instagram, open your settings and find Apps and websites.
- Find our app. Meta lists it as PostReachAI, and Instagram may show PostReachAI_Management-IG.
- Remove it.
What happens then. We can no longer post to that account or read from it. Meta tells us at our deauthorize address, and we delete the token. Posts waiting for that account go on hold under Needs you, and the people who can fix it hear from us. Removing the app doesn’t delete what we already hold, so ask for that as well.
By email, as above. Meta’s own request button works once our data deletion address is live, which happens when PostReach opens. Until then, we handle these requests by hand.
These are the addresses Meta calls:
| Purpose | Address |
|---|---|
| Deauthorize callback | https://api.postreach.ai/meta/deauthorize |
| Data deletion callback | https://api.postreach.ai/meta/data-deletion |
If you remove access at Google
Go to Google’s security page and remove PostReach. Once YouTube is available, we check our access regularly, and we delete what we store about a channel within 30 calendar days of finding that you’ve revoked it. To have it deleted sooner, disconnect the channel in PostReach or email us: that takes at most 7 calendar days.
Other networks
Remove PostReach in that network’s own settings. That stops our access. To delete what we hold, disconnect the account in PostReach, or email us.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, your sign-in details and your team’s data, if you’re deleting the team.
- Connection tokens and connected account details.
- Drafts, posts, files, approval records and figures.
- Your assistant’s grant, and your API tokens.
What stays, and why
- Posts already on a network. Deleting your data in PostReach doesn’t remove them. Use the network, or YouTube Studio for a YouTube video.
- Billing records. We keep bills, payments and the day counts behind them for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They hold a keyed hash of each account in place of its ID.
- Backups. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until they expire: our database provider’s daily backups last 7 days. We don’t restore deleted data into use.
- What your AI assistant’s provider already read. Ask that provider.
