Questions about Instagram

Does my account need to be professional?

Yes. Instagram only lets apps post to business and creator accounts. Switching is free, in Instagram's settings, and we walk you through it before you sign in.

Do I need a Facebook Page?

No. We use Instagram's own login, which needs no Page and no business portfolio.

Can it post text with no picture?

No. Instagram doesn't allow that, so your assistant is told before it tries.

Can it read or answer my messages and comments?

Not yet. The Inbox is coming later, and we'll tell you first.

What happens if Instagram refuses a post?

It waits under Needs you with the reason in plain words, and the people who can fix it get an email. Nothing is retried blindly.
